Day3...5/9...448mi...Humbold Redwwoods to South Lake Tahoe

After sitting in the saddle for a number of miles...I think my seat has finally broken in. This motorcycle not only handles very well but it rides very smooth. It really surprises me.
My objective for this day was to make it to San Francisco and get a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge...although a Giants game would have been nice. I can't tell you in words how beautiful this ride was down Hwy1. Fantastic!
This is what I got to look at most of the way down...
Traffic...on a Sunday afternoon back home is great...but for us out of towners in San Francisco...this is not fun on a bike. I made it to the bridge and was blessed with a beautiful view...although a bit chilly.
With plenty of time left in the day...it's time to get out of here. My plans were to travel as far as I could towards Carson City. I did some design work on a couple restaurants there... for a firm I work at...Messenger Corp out of Seattle. So off I headed past Sacramento and upthrough the hills...colder and colder...Burr!

I get a warning from my bikes computer when it's close to freezing and it didn't stop...although I really didn't need a computer to tell me it was cold. Here I am at the top of the pass with snow coming down.

Reached my goal and more for the day...Good night!
